@GeologyNow Not sure if he coined the term, but TC Chamberlin wrote a beautiful essay about the Psychozoic Era in one of his Geology of Wisconsin volumes c. 1877 by the @WGNHS. All of those volumes are beautiful but the essay is remarkable.
