@Library_Laine 👏💯 Threading strategy and social media voice is a persistent relationship for a very specific objective --tailoring and always keeping its targeted audience in mind. Speaking to its audience is fundamental.
Library size & budget can predicate whether a free or paid social media metric source is used. Metrics like @hootsuite can effectively assist to schedule posts, manage social media messages, & track trends--to supply & promote optimal measurements & deliverables.

@EmilyFloresSA @laceykatx That's interesting. It is not a common practice for our patrons to use aliases, nor modify the 'preferred name' function' on their accounts. Based on the applicant (law enforcement, protection program, etc.) different applications are given for privacy concerns.
@laceykatx Absolutely. Statistical reports on registration and circulation is essential--& for potential funding! Alternatively, it's bound to legal conditions. This permits only authorized personnel, the individual whom the records pertain to, & appropriate superior courts to access this.
@sjsu_chelsea Interesting. This is new to me. Do the existing applications provide a statement of purpose, to give applicants some background information for the intent of the data? Is there an option that allows applicants to 'opt out/decline, etc.'?
Data retrieved on a library's website can be used to determine what areas are often accessed or searched for--eventually extracting, transforming, & communicating data needs to users across an array of social media platforms. An example:

@laceykatx @LACountyLibrary @laceykatx I LOVE informing new visitors about all the things we have to offer. They become excited about our physical and digital sources and services. We have great programs, too. It is often that I will get a comment such as "Oh, I didn't know libraries were this cool now!"

@jordans_sjsu Totally. I work at one of the locations that offers this program. I can definitely see the impact and importance of this service for our community😀
@VThebookdragon YES! We do a breakfast/lunch program for 18 and under at LA County. It's great to see that your local library provides this service. It's also a reminder about flexibility i.e., thinking about ALL demographics. Wish we can someday have this in our county.

@DrLarrySJSU I had to borrow my mother's car while mine was being repaired and, well she has an SUV, so of course, but it cost $147 to fill. Madness! Thankfully, my car is repaired, and I'll fill with $80 for 3/4 of a week.
@sjsu_chelsea Hi Chelsea,
I will also be graduating this fall. It hasn't sank in, but I'm sure at some point it will all feel like it's a vortex of emotions, excitement, pressure, and madness as graduation nears. Best of luck on the rest of your journey!
