I'm super excited to share that the Webex Hologram project that I started years ago was named Best Collaboration Tool of the year at the #AWE USA 2024 conference #Auggie Awards ceremony! It allows people to share 3D experience and work together seeing photorealistic holograms of the other people, even when they’re far apart. @danyork there is a long story about standards in this but bottom line is that cable would not ever worked because the messed up the forward comparability. later they fixed this but had to use a new connector to require support for the version that was not a broken standard.
