Google Analytics' "AI Assistant" acquisition channel is not accurate yet. Keep building custom channel groupings if you want to fully appreciate AI traffic coming to your site.
@JrdnMcFarland@SahilBloom Guys, this is all captured by the leading behavioral expert George Costanza, who discovered the impact of doing the opposite 😆
@tomfgoodwin We coach our kids on the Internet mostly being companies and people after your money or attention. I think the world will skew more offline and the Internet will be a necessary evil for buying, communication, etc but not for entertainment or leisure. It's too bad.
@retirein1500@RootofGoodBlog I think this same mentality keeps some from starting the wealth building journey. They see others with so much and feel it's a zero sum game so there couldn't possibly be anything for me. In reality, we can all have lots of grass if we play the game right!
@retirein1500@RootofGoodBlog I think because adhering to such a process requires great sense of self and comfort with who you are in the world. And a lack of regard for status signaling.
On the flip side, there's more marketing than ever telling us we need things to show status and feel safe.
@lilyraynyc 100% this. This AI wave feels like educating folks all over again a la keywords; to not over-optimize for what we've already seen and instead "skate to where the puck is going" if you will. It's AI's keyword moment, except 1,000x what we went through in traditional SEO.
You need to be surrounding yourself with soft lights, you need to be barely able to see after the sun goes down, you need to feel like you are walking through a maze of soft yellow and black, you need to be living your late nights in a dream before you even sleep.
@tomfgoodwin I'm giving it five years for people to snap out of it and wonder why humans feel so empty and uninspired — after years of talking to AI bots. Then the pendulum will swing back and 'real humans' will be sold to use like it's a brand new idea.
@mattlanza is Houston's climate too challenging to forecast sometimes? It's pouring rain near Memorial Park and there's not a blip on my weather app's radar and no rain suggested.
Can we agree that the iPhone 4 was the best design and form factor?
*15 years* later, we've come full circle with iPhone 16e and Pixel 9a. We've mastered the smartphone; no further designs are needed. Time to move on to greater opportunities.
