2- Lo que paga un empleador al Estado sube un 5%
3- Lo que se lleva a casa un trabajador baja un 3,4%

Es decir, toda la subida de salarios de la que se presume no la disfruta el trabajador.

This is what our society fails to comprehend.

If I work as a physical therapist, and I’m good, I’ll make $100,000/yr. And pay $15,000 in taxes. I can see 60 patients per week. But that’s the end of it. No additional tax money, no more patients can get my services. I provide a living for myself and my family.

If I own a practice and employee 10 therapists that each make $100,000, now I’m providing a living for 10 families, and because of my efforts there is now $250,000 in tax revenue.

So why should businesses get taxed more? Why should they even have to pay payroll taxes? My value to society is way more than 10X at this point.

But the vast majority of Americans can’t comprehend that, neither do our congressional representatives.

I was on a train in Tokyo. We stopped between stations. Announcement in Japanese, then in English: "We apologize for the delay. We will resume shortly."

The delay was maybe 3 minutes. Not a big deal.

When the train started moving again, another announcement: "We sincerely apologize for the delay. We were stopped for 3 minutes and 20 seconds. This is unacceptable. Thank you for your patience."

Three minutes and twenty seconds. They measured it exactly. And called it unacceptable.

When I got off at my stop, there were station staff on the platform bowing and handing out delay certificates.

I took one out of curiosity. It was an official document stating that the train had been delayed by 3 minutes and 20 seconds, signed and stamped.

The staff member said in English "for your employer. So they know the delay was not your fault."

I said I'm a tourist, I don't need it. He looked confused. "But the delay affected you. You deserve an apology."

Three minutes. They were treating a three-minute delay like a major incident.

Later I mentioned this to a Japanese friend. They said "oh yes, delay certificates are normal. Trains are supposed to be exactly on time. If they are late, they must apologize."

I said three minutes isn't late, it's nothing. My friend said "in Japan, three minutes is late. On time means on time. Not approximately on time."

They said the train company probably investigated why there was a 3-minute delay. "They will find the cause and fix it so it doesn't happen again."

I kept the certificate. It's framed in my apartment now. A reminder that somewhere in the world, people care about three minutes.

No, no les importa lo más mínimo porque toda su ideología es una mentira: dicen defender la libertad de expresión y ahora se recrean en haber conseguido censurarla; dicen luchar por los derechos de los trabajadores y han lanzado unas campaña en redes sociales para linchar a un trabajador e intentar que lo despidan.

Ni libertad de expresión ni derechos de los trabajadores. Lo único que les obsesiona es conquistar y retener el poder político y, para lograrlo, no tienen el más mínimo reparo en mentir, difamar y triturar a quien se interponga en su camino. No vais a hallar en sus cuentas ni la menor señal de arrepentimiento sincero por lo que han hecho.
