@rodnorfor@fibrehop I’m having the same problem since about 08:10 this morning @fibrehop. Rebooting the fibre box and router have not resolved the issue.
@fibrehop is there an issue in the Milton Keynes area? I have been disconnected this morning and unable to reconnect. Your service status doesn't show any issues.
@EveCorner @cjblack_physio @hksanger As a critical illness survivor, I’d rather that message was “There’s so much you can do with early mobilisation in ICU, but listen to the patient’s physiology and subjective sense of fatigue“ It’s don’t overdo, not don’t try. Recovery is hard enough without further deterioration
https://t.co/tU6Vnbkiwz Tomorrow is the 18th birthday of my 2nd life, thanks to #ICU. After 6 weeks in hospital with a TBI and SCI, I escaped with a stolen walker in my pyjamas. That's PICS. That's #delirium. That's why #RehabIsCritical. #ICUrehab for all. @icusteps@BBCHughPym
Amazing! Over 1000 signatures to @icusteps#RehabIsCritical petition in one day. Those of us who know critical illness understand that #ICUrehab is essential to get our lives back. The public need to understand too, and @MattHancock https://t.co/tU6Vnbkiwz
@BBCNews@BBCBreakfast Post-ICU rehab is not a luxury. It's essential to give broken survivors their lives back. @NICEComms recommended this 12 years ago (CG83). Let's make rehab standard and stop the postcode lottery. https://t.co/tU6Vnbkiwz #RehabIsCritical
@RN_Abigail As a survivor of critical illness I’d like to add my support. If the healthcare system was the army, critical care is the special forces. What you do, others can’t comprehend but you make a huge difference to people’s lives every single day. Thank you for keeping going.
Just 24 hours left in the #Artandco#covid19 charity auction. Last chance to visit https://t.co/EDMogVETlK, get involved and help front line charities including @ICUsteps. This amazing fundraising effort could fund development of our icu patient diary app. Get bidding!
Super excited by the #Artandco#covid19 charity auction. This amazing fundraising effort will make a huge difference and so proud @ICUsteps is one of the beneficiaries. Great art with pieces for auction by Dali, Picasso, Warhol and Koons. https://t.co/lSuzLglYl1 Have a look!
@elbuder@TheAtlantic The quality and insight of your videography was of the very highest order. This is a tragedy, but I’m certain skills of this calibre will be snapped up by those with the vision to appreciate them. Thank you so much for your epic work in highlighting the reality of ICU delirium.
@gilldavies62@ICUsteps@FICMNews@BPSOfficial Follow up is great, I was lucky enough to have it. Such a help in coming to terms with surviving ICU, but still only in a minority of units, many of them constantly having to justify and defend the role. What you do is key to our survival. Thank you 💖
Happy videos of COVID survivors being applauded leaving hospital is not the end of their journey. It’s the start and they’re being abandoned to face it alone. Survival is not enough. We need support and #icurehab to get our lives back. Listen to @icusteps@ficmnews@BPSofficial
@gilldavies62@ICUsteps@FICMNews@BPSOfficial Even before the pandemic our provision of rehabilitation and support to ICU survivors was haphazard. NICE CG83 was 12 years ago. Critical care is expensive. Rehab is cheap in comparison, even a saving when you factor other costs. It’s time to make comprehensive rehab a standard
