@ReissOmari Yes, but apparently temporary: right in front of the New Street Tesco's amongst the newly laid stone blocks, but I am assured by the contractors (when I questioned them) that these are areas that will be finished properly later in the contract (maybe it's where benches will go?)
@Feltip1982@bctype Walked past here on Sunday, and kicking myself that I didn’t notice this. Thanks! It is a peculiar place (we’ve been inside before).
@paytondev Though earlier it's web page was consistently using over 40% of the CPU and causing the fans to spin up on my somewhat ancient Intel MacBook Air, which wasn't happening previously.
I do love when the rain reminds us how great the Centenary Square reflective pool looks.
Come on Birmingham, get those fountains switched back on, it’s been 3 years!! 😩
@markrwilliamson@barry_wizard Ooo, this would be great. I recently spoke to a boater at Baits Bite Lock and I hadn't realised that the extensive (and expensive) work there a "temporary stabilisation project". I should have been following what the #CamConservancy – and you! – have been saying more closely.
@RichParkerLab More communication is great but a pity your media advisors (?!) suggested Substack in particular since they're pretty problematic https://t.co/agmByQiyDF
@ReissOmari@ParadiseBham The trees are looking worryingly dormant when I walked past a few days ago – hopefully just in shock from their transplantation, because elsewhere pretty much all the trees I've seen are now coming into leaf. Fingers crossed!
@jordanbhx Hmm indeed (they should have hidden this dev site 'til it was ready). Bit on the pricey side too … or perhaps £5 for a Flat White is the new normal. .
