Incredible insight into the new limestone concession, rampant logging and the elite networks profitting off destruction of Prey Lang Wildlife Sanctuary from that cracking team of @geraldrflynn @_andy_ball @vuthasrey https://t.co/nXmfA1hr8b
Cambodia has hired a lobbying firm popular with accused dictators and kleptocrats on a $70,000/month retainer. My latest for @RadioFreeAsia:

The US uses Global Magnitsky Act to sanction Try Pheap and Kun Kim and his family network. Try Pheap's 11 companies and 5 of Kun Kim's family are under the sanction. https://t.co/3I4UEs8dAx

Sorry, but how can I distort the messages? Lol come on. Why did you delete the messages in the first place if you’re telling the truth you should have something to back your statement up. And you were the one who insisted of helping me financially..
“It’s been more than a year since a politicized Supreme Court decision effectively turned #Cambodia into a one-party state, but the government is still harassing former opposition party members through police interrogations and court summonses" says @hrw https://t.co/AKsStaD38x
Outspoken CNRP activist in Svay Rieng named Kong Mas was arrested this morning in Phnom Penh. He strongly supports Sam Rainsy-Kem Sokha leadership & criticizes govt a lot on FB. HUN SEN just said he would annihilate the opposition if the int'l communities sanction his regime.
Next to O'Chherteal Beach, Sihanouk Ville, Cambodia. See how everything changes. When they talk too much about development in the province but without master plan, transparency & accountabilty...that's over. Photos last week by local NGO
The Daily needs to reopen. But RFA, VOA and other voices, the regime just allow local 📻 stations to reopen and broadcast their news program. Anyways, I believe it's not what the regime wants.
Good news. But, merely window dressing if @cambodiadaily is not included in news entities allowed reopen. Potential loss of EBA certainly seems to be focusing attention in Phnom Penh @eu_eeas @MalmstromEU https://t.co/rrUy8ECmqL
NA President has 46 advisers & assistants while 2nd Vice President has 27. Hundreds of CPP members become advisers, assistants & cabinet staffs of the new regime & the Premier while other hundreds become officials in ministries & units. Very useless & waste of national budget!
5 special military units were removed from RCAF High Command to be placed under the Royal Cambodian Army (Infantry). It's clear PM's son Hun Manet gains more power and the new RCAF's Commander-in-Chief Vong Pisen has less power. So Gen Manet is the pillar of the new regime.
@doyle_kevin@prakchanthul I think PM HS doesn't trust anyone beside his children. He might be afraid of chaos inside the party or from the military leaders while he goes outside to lobby the world for new regime recognition.
We once saw this in Burmese military regime, but now it happens in Cambodia--detaining opposition leader in his house and ban all his political rights.
Opposition leader Kem Sokha was banned from meeting former CNRP leaders, foreigners, especially who linked to his case, attending a political meeting/activities & he only permitted to go area around his house. It seems he can only stay inside his house.
Watchdog Kim Sok said Kem Sokha would be released on bail and taken home quietly with political rights restcitions. It's true now. So nothing to say about law, charges against opposition, activists & journalists are all politically motivated to assure the victory of the CPP.
