I am deeply disturbed by the use of AI to create degrading and morphed videos of a woman. Such acts are cruel, shameful and completely unacceptable. I strongly condemn them.

This is not an issue concerning just one individual or one film. Today, it has happened to someone else. Tomorrow, it could happen to you, me or anyone we know. We cannot remain silent simply because it has not affected us personally. Every one of us has a responsibility to stand against this abuse.

Those who create such content and those who deliberately spread or amplify it must be held accountable under the law. This cannot be dismissed as a joke or treated as entertainment.

I will take this matter up with the Telugu Film Chamber, the Producers’ Council and our affiliated industry bodies, and recommend the formation of a dedicated committee and support cell. Working closely with Cyber Crime authorities, this team should support those affected, coordinate efforts to remove such content and pursue legal action against those responsible.

The entire Telugu film fraternity must come together for this effort. Our associations, artists, technicians, audiences and fans all have a role to play. I also urge the Central and State Governments to take strong and effective measures against the misuse of AI for such abuse.

Please do not watch, download, share or circulate these videos, even with the intention of condemning them. Report them to the respective platforms and Cyber Crime authorities instead.

Protecting human dignity is our collective responsibility. Let us stand together, speak up and act.

ప్రజలకు స్వచ్ఛమైన తాగునీరు అందించడం, సహజ జలవనరుల పరిరక్షణ… ప్రభుత్వాల ప్రాథమిక బాధ్యతనీ, నీటి వనరులను కలుషితం చేసే హక్కు ఎవరికీ లేదని రాష్ట్ర ఉప ముఖ్యమంత్రివర్యులు, అటవీ పర్యావరణ శాఖల మంత్రి శ్రీ పవన్ కళ్యాణ్ గారు స్పష్టం చేశారు. పరిశ్రమలు పర్యావరణ పరిరక్షణపట్ల అత్యంత బాధ్యతాయుతంగా వ్యవహరించాలని చెప్పారు. ఏ పరిశ్రమ అయినా పర్యావరణానికి, సమాజానికి హాని కలిగించే విధంగా యథేచ్ఛగా నిబంధనలు ఉల్లంఘించడం ఆమోదయోగ్యం కాదన్నారు. కాలుష్యాన్ని మూలం వద్దే నివారించడం అత్యంత కీలకమైన అంశమని పేర్కొన్నారు. ఆక్వా వ్యర్థాల కారణంగా సహజ నీటి వనరులు, భూగర్భజలాలు కాలుష్య బారినపడకుండా జాగ్రత్తలు పాటించాలని, ప్రతి పరిశ్రమ నిర్దేశిత ప్రమాణాలు తప్పక పాటించి తీరాలని ఆదేశించారు. గురువారం మంగళగిరిలోని క్యాంపు కార్యాలయంలో ఆక్వా ప్రాసెసింగ్, ప్రీ-ప్రాసెసింగ్ యూనిట్లు పాటించాల్సిన పర్యావరణ అనుసరణలపై సీ ఫుడ్ ఎక్స్‌పోర్టర్స్ అసోసియేషన్ ఆఫ్ ఇండియా (SEAI) ఆంధ్రప్రదేశ్ ప్రాంత ప్రతినిధులతో సమీక్ష సమావేశం నిర్వహించారు. ఆక్వా పరిశ్రమల్లో అమలు చేస్తున్న ప్రమాణాలపై సమీక్షించారు.

రాష్ట్రవ్యాప్తంగా మొత్తం 128 ఆక్వా ప్రాసెసింగ్ యూనిట్లు, ప్రీ-ప్రాసెసింగ్ యూనిట్లు ఉండగా, 82 యూనిట్ల నుంచి నమూనాలు సేకరించి పరీక్షించినట్టు ఈ సందర్భంగా ఏపీ కాలుష్య నియంత్రణ మండలి మెంబర్ సెక్రటరీ తన నివేదిక ద్వారా ఉప ముఖ్యమంత్రివర్యులకు తెలియజేశారు. అందులో 49 యూనిట్లు నిర్దేశిత ప్రమాణాలను పాటించడం లేదని, నిబంధనలు పాటించని యూనిట్లను పరిశీలించగా బీఓడీ (BOD) స్థాయిలు లీటరుకు 30 మిల్లీగ్రాములకుగాను, 321 మిల్లీగ్రాములు నమోదైనట్లు వివరించారు. సుమారు 64 శాతం యూనిట్లలో 90 మిల్లీగ్రాములకు మించి ఉన్నట్టు తెలిపారు. టీఎస్ఎస్ స్థాయిలు కూడా ప్రమాదకర రీతిలో ఉన్నాయని, లీటరుకు 365 మిల్లీగ్రాములు నమోదయ్యాయని, నిర్దేశిత ప్రమాణాల మేరకు 50 మిల్లీగ్రాములు మించరాదని తెలిపారు. ఇది జలవనరులపై తీవ్ర ప్రభావం చూపుతుందని పేర్కొన్నారు.

ఈ సందర్భంగా శ్రీ పవన్ కళ్యాణ్ గారు మాట్లాడుతూ “ఇంత యథేచ్ఛగా నిబంధనలు ఉల్లంఘించడం ఆమోదయోగ్యం కాదు. కాలుష్యాన్ని మూలాల వద్దే నివారించడం అత్యంత కీలకం. ఆక్వా ప్రాసెసింగ్ కార్యకలాపాల నుంచి వెలువడే మురుగు నీరు నదులు, కాలువలు, చెరువులు, సాగర సంగమ ప్రాంతాలు, భూగర్భ జలాలు తదితర నీటి వనరులను కలుషితం చేయకుండా చర్యలు తీసుకోవాలి. ప్రజల జీవనాధారానికి, వ్యవసాయానికి, మత్స్య సంపదకు, పర్యావరణ వ్యవస్థలకు ఈ నీటి వనరులే అత్యంత కీలకం. పరిశ్రమలు కచ్చితంగా కాలుష్య నియంత్రణ మండలి నిర్దేశిత ప్రమాణాలు అమలు చేయాలి.

• పారిశ్రామిక అభివృద్ధికి, పర్యావరణ పరిరక్షణకు కట్టుబడి ఉన్నాం
ఆక్వా ప్రాసెసింగ్ యూనిట్లలో నిర్దేశిత ప్రమాణాలు అమలును ప్రతి 15 రోజులకు ఒకసారి పరీక్షించాలి. ఎప్పటికప్పుడు పరిశీలనలకు సంబంధించిన నివేదికలను సమర్పించాలి. అదే సమయంలో నిబంధనలు అమలులో ఏవైనా సాంకేతికపరమైన, నిర్వహణపరమైన సవాళ్లు ఉంటే పరిశ్రమల ప్రతినిధులు ప్రభుత్వం దృష్టికి తీసుకురావాలి. సమస్యల పరిష్కారానికి అవసరమైన చర్యలను పరిశీలించేందుకు ప్రభుత్వం సిద్ధంగా ఉంది. మత్స్య రంగం, ఆక్వా ప్రాసెసింగ్ పరిశ్రమలకు సంబంధించిన సమస్యలను సమగ్రంగా చర్చించేందుకు మత్స్యకార ప్రతినిధులు, ఆక్వా ప్రాసెసింగ్ యూనిట్ల ప్రతినిధులతో సంయుక్త సమావేశం నిర్వహించి, పర్యావరణ నిబంధనల అమలు, ప్రాసెసింగ్ రంగాల స్థిరమైన అభివృద్ధి మధ్య సమతుల్యత సాధించడం అవసరం. కూటమి ప్రభుత్వం స్థిరమైన పారిశ్రామిక అభివృద్ధికి, పర్యావరణ పరిరక్షణ, నీటి వనరుల సంరక్షణకు కట్టుబడి ఉంద”న్నారు.

From being among the world's largest economies, Bharat has risen to the 4th-largest economy in nominal GDP in the World Bank's latest 2024 data, while continuing its journey towards the goal of becoming one of the world's leading economies.

For Andhra Pradesh, your support has been of immense significance. From the renewed development of Amaravati and continued support for Polavaram, to the Visakhapatnam development corridor, Bhogapuram International Airport, railway and road connectivity, industrial investments, energy projects and strengthening of the State’s infrastructure ecosystem, your continued support has opened new avenues for Andhra Pradesh’s growth and development. The support extended by you to Andhra Pradesh is truly invaluable and beyond measure.
