Practical steps that would strengthen the program and that both sides should be able to support:

• Automatic penalties for unpaid awards (Murphy NSA Enforcement Act)
• Independent validation of QPA data
• Clearer cooling-off rules so claims are not stranded for a year
• Lower administrative fees for small practices
• Consistent use of RARC codes so ineligible claims are identified and removed earlier

Everyone benefits when ineligible claims are filtered out before they consume arbitrator time and resources. Better RARC utilization is one of the clearest operational improvements available.

✅These changes protect patients, improve compliance, and preserve access for independent physicians. The data is public. Independent physicians will keep pressing for the process to work as Congress designed it.

Accra Airport in Ghana - kindest staff who helped as we were stranded after midnight (rerouted & split from our group of 41 by @United airlines) with no visa, hotel, or updated airline ticket. They provided us with water and helped us get safely to a hotel. Thank you !
