The Fabelmans is the best movie about movies ever made because its central thesis is that movies will ruin your life and the lives of those around you but what are you gonna do? not do movies?

No one believes me when I say this, but the decline in reading is already having dire consequences for art & culture. The media you loved in your youth—shows, albums, films—was made by artists who were widely read. You will not have that quality of art in a post-literate world.
i’ve never been in love but i’ve heard a lot about it and like the sound of it. big fan of the concept. not sure i’m capable of it as i suspect there is something deeply broken within me but biiiig fan of the concept.
"Twitter" was the original, perfect name: evoking the twittering of birds, always in the background, constant & continuous like a Zen river; celebrating what is past, passing or to come as infinity moves past & through us without ever stopping for long; here, then gone; but also here again, & gone.
