I am thrilled to share that I have been officially promoted to Associate Professor at the Scintillon Institute @Scintillon. I am proud of this milestone and grateful to my colleagues and the exceptional trainees in my group. Your dedication, ideas, and hard work have been invaluable, and I could not be prouder of what we are building together. I am also deeply grateful to everyone who provided their support letters.
1/ Thrilled to share an exciting discovery @ ChaoWangBiochem: Reshaping the tumor microenvironment by degrading glycoimmune checkpoints Siglec-7 and -9 #glycotime https://t.co/AJpZSf7JHP
@pengwuTSRI I also extend my gratitude to Dr. Xu Zhou (@XuZhouLab) and Dr. Matthew Macauley (@MatthewMacaule4) for their insightful discussions, as well as to my colleagues, Yingqin, Jerry, and many others for their significant contributions.
The lab of @CarolynBertozzi discovered a biomolecule that could be present in all forms of life. "This is a stunning discovery of an entirely new class of biomolecules,” said Bertozzi. She is affiliated with @StanfordUChem@Stanford_ChEMH@StanfordMCHRI

I am excited to announce the publication of our work using phage display to engineer highly selective covalent inhibitors. This project started back in 2012 and it is very exciting to see it finally in print. Great work Shiyu, @scottlovell34 and others.https://t.co/qBEfeKtM4G
We have a postdoc opening starting in January, using FucoID to detect antigen-specific T cells in human cancer patient samples and in murine autoimmune disease models #glycotime#immunotherapy
1/3 What are the endogenous tumor antigen-specific T cells? What are their properties? Our magical fucosyltransferase-enabled FucoID help to address these fundamental questions #glycotime#immunotherapy@SFGlycobiology https://t.co/RdPWLVGymm
Hening Lin, Maurine Linder & colleagues show that a palmitoylation/depalmitoylation cycle on STAT3 affects its subcellular localization and ability to promote TH17 cell differentiation and limit TH17-linked IBD @nature free-to-read: https://t.co/XASYAXGubh
This Wednesday, tune in to chat w/ Drs. Mary Cloninger (@montanastate) & @pumtiwitt (@MorganStateU) in our Meet the Speakers event! Ask them anything from research discoveries to career inspirations! This networking event is free to attend: https://t.co/Ssa64FIjFa
Mouse secretome atlas using TurboID, from Jon Long's lab @Stanford!
TurboID expressed in the ER lumen of 4 different cell types, & biotinylated proteins enriched from plasma & analyzed by MS.
Dynamic profiling +/- high fructose/sucrose diet as well.
