I don't know how it is possible that Biden doesn't understand all that is at stake here, but, based on his consistent eagerness to expand fossil fuels, I am convinced he does not.
He must declare climate emergency. Now.

Diversity makes our society smarter, stronger, and more innovative. In the face of today’s ruling, I’m more committed than ever to fostering diversity through my work—whether that’s in our nation’s classrooms, boardrooms, or the halls of Congress.

This headline should have been the dealbreaker for everyone. Do you understand what this means? Do you understand the eventual price you will pay for repeated infections?
I had a lot of fun meeting @CheechMarin, experiencing @TheCheechCenter, and learning a lot about his work to support the arts, education, and economic mobility for Mexican Americans.

Growing up, I was told I wasn’t a “math person” and I believed it. Now, as a parent, I see the power of math and am proud @GatesUS is committed to making sure all students can see themselves as capable of succeeding in math.
NEW: As the nation witnesses unprecedented declines in academic achievement, @gatesfoundation has announced it will fund $1.1 billion in K-12 math initiatives over the next four years https://t.co/ZZbNk5wbsC
I’m still astonished at the fact that, despite the wealth of evidence showing the long-term health risks from even ‘mild’ cases of Covid, as a country we have just shrugged, accepted mass infection, and acted as if the still-cautious among us are the *odd* ones. It’s madness.
