On 4th June the markets had fallen. Many Retail Investors placed orders for their Mutual Funds before 3pm.

The NAV allotted to them should have been for 4th.
But, they got their Mutual Funds allotted based on NAV on 5th.

This robbed them of their rightful gains.

I thought this is some kind of anomaly. And, maybe it happened with a handful of people.

But, when I checked within my investment community: I was surprised to see the extent of this problem.

Just bringing to everyone's notice.
But, no one literally stands up for small guys.

@RailwaySeva know allotting lower birth is automatic, still changes can be done so that Sr. Citizen must get the lower birth or the full refund. So, in any way can you help in getting atleast one lower birth PNR - 2739611919. 2/2

@charayamohit who have been allotted middle/upper berth due to non-availability of lower berths at the time of booking. Kindly approach on duty TTE for assistance while journey. 2/2

Atleast in this case there should be an option provided to cancel the ticket without any deduction so that I can try once again. It is mandatory for my father to come to Ghaziabad for the treatment.

@AshwiniVaishnaw Now as the senior citizen concession is also discontinued, we still expect that the senior citizen must get the lower birth. Now as this is the tatkal ticket we cannot get the refund also after cancelling the ticket. Please do something in this regard.

@AshwiniVaishnaw Hi Sir, I have booked the tickets - 12229 Second AC TATKAL for my parents aged 61 and 66. My father is heart patient and he cannot travel in upper birth, so I selected the atleast 2 lower birth option. But still I didn't get the single lower birth.
