Bobby Prince, the legendary composer behind games such as DOOM, DOOM II, Wolfenstein 3D and Duke Nukem 3D, has sadly passed away.
May he rest in peace ❤️
Yes, it was 47 years ago that I first hit the airwaves in Chicago. No, I never expected to be where I am today. Very grateful and thankful to you all for your loyalty, support, and friendship!
Today would have been my uncle Jim Varney's 77th birthday.
More than 26 years since his passing, his work continues to make people laugh, smile, and cry happy tears.
Happy Birthday, Jim. You are missed, remembered, and still bringing joy to generations of fans. ♥️ 🎭✨️
Fun facts for my English speaking followers. The Japanese have an abbreviation for the Chicago White Sox.
シカホワ, or Shikahowa.
The name for Chicago White Sox is written in Japanese as シカゴ・ホワイトソックス (romanized as Shikago Howaitosokusu)
If you take the first two characters in both those words, you get
シカ- Shika
ホワ- Howa
So it’s essentially their version of our “ChiSox”

Dear stranger at the rodeo,
When my little boy ran up and grabbed your arm, you had no idea he used to be afraid of everyone.
When he wouldn’t stop talking about the bulls, you didn’t know he has a language disorder.
When he climbed right into your lap and giggled while you tickled him, you didn’t know loud noises and touches usually scare him.
And you never knew that his mom was sitting just a few seats away with tears pouring down, quietly snapping a picture of the two of you.
We brought him home only a few months ago through adoption, and we had no clue how long it might take before he felt safe enough to laugh and play with someone new. You didn’t know any of that, but you still gave him your time and your smile like it was the most natural thing in the world.
You helped a little boy who has worked so hard to trust people feel completely safe for a few perfect minutes.
My heart is overflowing. Thank you.
Blue bags up.
Japan 2, Netherlands 2 — an absolute thriller in Arlington. And then the real show started.
The Japanese end pulls out thousands of bright blue bags. First they wave them like flags, bouncing and chanting until the whole section is one giant wall of blue. Then — same bags, new mission. They fan out across the stands and scoop up every bottle, wrapper and cup till the seats look brand new.
And who's right in the middle of it, grinning with a bag in his hand? Jameis Winston. Giants QB. Heisman winner. Out there cleaning up with the Samurai Blue like it's the best gig of his summer.
No chore. No lecture. Just a party that cleans up after itself.
Best fans on the planet. 🇯🇵💙
I want to introduce you to Steve. He’s 83. His wife died a few months ago and he comes to this lodge in Spring Mill, Indiana and draws. He taught art in Terre Haute, IN his whole life. He also did courtroom sketches in court cases. In the comments I’ll share some pics from his sketchbook. He was excited when I said I was going to share his sketches with the world.
Thank you for the birthday wishes! And please if you wanna give me a gift donate to Boys And Girls Club. Or to the YMCA. So that other kids will have opportunities.

While I appreciate your civic pride, NO, we take burgers to an art form, so many styles & flavors. Thin & crispy, thick & juicy, or stuffed with Velveeta, which most Europeans don’t have access too. Plus just about every ethnicity has their own spin, which are fantastic.
Kobe or A-5 waygu is much fattier and richer, so portions tend to be smaller. American steakhouses pride themselves on massive cuts, 16oz to 24 oz is the average. I consider both to be a treat not eaten regularly. Kobe is tastier but a 28 day dry aged bone in strip is my favorite
@WUTangKids I've never been to America, but which is tastier, this steak or Kobe beef?
The steak I had at Friendship Day on a US military base was delicious.
