Today marks World Pulmonary Hypertension Day. It’s a rare condition, where the pressure in the blood vessels leading from the heart to the lungs is too high. One patient at the Stollery Children’s Hospital is getting some hands-on learning about it.

An 8-year-old transplant recipient had the chance to see a 3-D model of his damaged heart. As @SaroltaCityNews reports, the boy’s mother says this has given her son a sense of empowerment, as he always wanted to know what was wrong with his old heart. @StolleryKids@UAlberta#yeg
