@RiseAboveWithK Why haven’t you been back to the Derby? I’ve been 25 years in a row and yes- there is a ton of drinking but my God- I don’t think I’ve ever once seen anyone get arrested- I’ve seen a lot of Isht go down, especially when I did the infield but my God- the Derby is NOT the problem!
@Ticket_Help2022@tickets113@StubHub The only example I can think of- let’s say you sell for $300 and bust. SH fines you $600. So you resell at $900, after SH takes the 10% fee and fines you $600, you net $210- make that make sense?
@tickets113@Ticket_Help2022@StubHub I can 100% assure you StubHub can arbitrarily fine ANY seller any amount and as long as you have delivered sales that they have not paid out on yet- they just deduct the fine from those sales proceeds. There is not a damn thing you can do about it as a seller. Every busted order
@Ticket_Help2022@StubHub Goes up- there’s a good chance not only will you not get your tickets, but you won’t even 100% know for sure until 3 hours before the event. So forget about looking for your own replacements in the meantime- we might deliver your order, we might not”
@Ticket_Help2022@StubHub Agreed 100%. They need to be 100% transparent: on every busted order- here’s what we fined the seller. As a buyer- you get none of that money when we bust your order. StubHub’s motto should be “buy in advance, if the market drops, you will 100% get your tickets, if the market
@MrYuckers@OwnGoalHatTrick I would love to see that happen! What’s getting lost in all of this is that StubHub fines sellers 200% or more on a busted order- so how is it that sellers can afford to bust and where is all that fine $$$ going?
@BowdensFlipFone@TeamStubHub@EbenPingree The “down side” for the seller is they are fined 200% of the order price when they fail to deliver the tickets as promised. What is StubHub doing with all the money collected from sellers that bust orders?
@forcemm@StubHub@ScottFriedman3@cbcdaveseglins@CBCNews Can someone please explain- how are this many busted orders occurring when StubHub fines sellers 200% or more of the order when a sale busts? What is StubHub doing with all that money from fining sellers that bust orders?
@dave_wakeman@byajperez Dave- they should also have to explain- "Here's what we fine a seller for a busted order"(usually 200% or more), and we keep all of that to ourselves. They should also explain how this many sellers can bust orders and absorb the penalties and fines.
@itixx@MrLiimited@StubHub That’s true but how would you be able to sell tickets on SH on a regular basis and have no “delivered but not yet paid out” sales? I just got switched to pay on delivery but many sellers are still paid AFTER the event. There is no way a first time seller should be
@CryptoAcid@_EricBeltran@TeamStubHub What StubHub doesn’t tell you is they will fine the original seller 200% of the sale price and keep that money for themselves
@CryptoAcid@_EricBeltran@TeamStubHub Basically what StubHub is saying is that if the market has gone down- they will be happy to provide replacement tickets and you will NOT get a refund. If the market has gone up- they are not covering the cost of more expensive seats and yes, you will get a refund.
