Glued to my screen for a whole hour, watching this gem from @standupmaths : https://t.co/sozGFeNqeh
My favorite part: "If you see *THIS* come in, distort, and go out... Someone's out there throwing 4D cubes at you, pointy end first! Somehow, you've annoyed them 😨" 😂😂Brilliant!
#ReinforcementLearning:
What do we want?
Reward!
When do we want it?
At some point in the future, with some probabilistic expectation, and with a discount.
Fascinating presentations by @ualbany students Yuezen Li and Ehab AlBadawy + @stonybrooku students Charuta Pethe and Shirin Feiz about their research on AI
My student Charuta Pethe just presented our paper "The Trumpiest Trump? Identifying a Subject's Most Characteristic Tweets" at EMNLP 2019 in Hong Kong. https://t.co/XmSazDwgmj Check out our demo account @Trumpiest_Trump !
Happening now in AWE Hall2B! #CoNLL2019 invited talk by @Vigliocco_G of @UCLanguageLab on "Ecological Language: A Multimodal Approach to the Study of Human Language Learning and Processing"!! 😃

Dress up as a TCP packet for Halloween...
Them: what are you dressed as?
You: are you ready for me to tell you?
Them: I am ready for you to tell me
You: ok I am going to tell you
Them: ok
You: I am a TCP packet
Them: ...
You: I am a TCP packet
Them: ok
@b_niranjan I've been mulling over this: There will *always* be *some* pattern/s in whichever dataset you choose. It may be as simple as the presence of words like "not", "is", or "do"... or something more complex which we humans may not be able to comprehend.
Our @AI_SBU Director Steve Skiena will be presenting "Word and Graph Embeddings for #MachineLearning Models" at the @CEWIT_SBU 2019 Conference on November 6, 2019. Follow the link for registration and more details. #ML https://t.co/llfheESVTC
