🔥 The Hon’ble Comptroller and Auditor General of India (CAG) has intimated a suo moto Efficiency-cum-Performance Audit of #SPARSH is being taken up by this office in Audit Cycle 2026-27 covering the issues faced by Defence pensioners.

📢 Received by Lt Col R K Bhardwaj (Retd) via Speed Post on 17/12/2025 (CAG Letter No. 575/31-Defence/2025 dated 11/12/2025), the audit covers the following issues:
(i) Defective Data Migration,
(ii) Expedited Implementation Without Due Process,
(iii) Imposition of Responsibility on Vulnerable Pensioners,
(iv) Manifest Errors in Data,
(v) Ineffective Grievances Resolution Mechanism etc.

This brings hope to 70-80% ESM in remote villages/small towns, unable to access SPARSH due to non-tech issues.
