I remember that when a large multinational company visited our campus during our seniors’ placement season, they asked one of them - “If you had to choose between working 6 hours a day for 8 days or 8 hours a day for 6 days to complete a job, which would you choose?”

The senior replied, “I would work 12 hours a day and finish it in 4 days.” The answer was hugely appreciated.

Slowly that bubble of hustle seems to be bursting. The dream of retiring at 35 with millions in the bank no longer appears as glamorous or attainable as it once did.

More people are beginning to question whether sacrificing their health, relationships, and peace of mind is worth chasing aspirations that were often marketed as the ideal life.
