@AashaCowey Aasha. Speak to Isobel PB - can recall looking at this when I was working in Pathology and was leading on the LFD work. basically the LFD detects a high viral load so if positive then likely very contagious whereas PCR can detect much lower levels - gold standard

@kerryallen10 @DrRanj It doesn’t viruses are designed to survive - it dies out when there are no more hosts to infect hence herd immunity so we are delaying the inevitable by staying locked up and not getting immunised
