I think adults struggle w/being honest about their K12 experiences. In all likelihood, they were presented w/the information but perhaps didn’t find it valuable or “worth learning” at the time. Kids say the exact same things right now.

I can say "generally," "usually," "mostly," etc. and someone will chime in with "not always" like. Yeah man that's what I meant. That was the purpose of using those words.
