Poisoning the everchanging lands of the oxymoronic self-mind-space.

[qera @chemgrain]

@HardwareSteam Up until December 30th, will cancel it if I don't get the order mail within October, there's literally no point.

[qera @chemgrain]

@PrimeIntellect We know what happened last time prime intellect rewrote itself, better be careful.

[qera @chemgrain]

Nobody tells you how excruciating temperature management in a tiny room is. Boiling to death in this recently constructed building that of course has no AC.

[qera @chemgrain]

Got my first ever apartment today, absolutely surreal experience.

[qera @chemgrain]

@HardwareSteam @vroptician will start accepting orders sometime this week, considerable if you're buying from the EU

[qera @chemgrain]

The thought of my age starting with a 2 soon is scary.

[qera @chemgrain]

Not 5 minutes later and it covers the entire left peripheral vision yeah no I'll have to restmaxx before it gets to the worse stages.

[qera @chemgrain]

Oh no first time in over a year that I get a migraine, and its at 1 fucking am. This things going to screw me over I can amready feel it, the visual aura's moving very quickly.

[qera @chemgrain]

I'd give the aura a 6/10 so far, the prismatic lighting is pretty but the flickering is too much and lost like 40% of my peripheral vision.

[qera @chemgrain]

@TackyTamarin Ah I see what you mean, my quote wasn't specific to the post but rather to the meta connect event in general and its associated products. Didn't even read the replies or other quotes and just took it as an example lmao.

[qera @chemgrain]

What the fuck why are most reactions to this thing positive? Do people trust the lizard enough to let the palantir surveillance drone 9000 into their lifes? I'd rather post my ssn into gpt convo than that.

[Andrew Sibert @drewsibert]

Pretty surreal seeing the Muse Charm on stage at Connect.

It was really fun incubating this lil guy alongside a small group of incredibly talented designers.

Technology should be fun!

[qera @chemgrain]

@TackyTamarin Partly yes, what annoys me is that people with reasonable opinions who I've followed for years see it in the same light.

[qera @chemgrain]

@Ekaeoq Have had mine for about a year, no complaints so far except the ui being horribly unresponsive. Wouldn't recommend buying the RM2 as new though, the Pro is a much better investment.

[qera @chemgrain]

@leodotcom @Ekaeoq Yea, you connect via ssh and can even run custom GUI applications. IIRC they use qt internally which means designing via QML should be possible.

[qera @chemgrain]

I feel like when you start working for meta an evil seed is planted within you, which subconsciously discourages you from leaving the company and eats you from the inside. No shot all these employees are born so demonic.

[qera @chemgrain]

@Ekaeoq Buy an eink tablet and all your needs are satisfied.

[qera @chemgrain]

@ChazTyldsley @coah80 1. The battery sits in the headstrap which should allow for third party or DIY solutions to bypass it.
2. Pretty sure my leg is more durable.

[qera @chemgrain]

@N4pstr @coah80 Yea for sure, I see little reason why you'd want a built in battery for anything other than backup/standby when you're primarily using it for entertainment. Gives you less heat emissions and reduced weight for free too.

[qera @chemgrain]

@0xSero Sold my 4090 before the inflation began and now I'm stuck with a 6+ year old GPU. Can't really upgrade either because student = broke. Will be used for llm and likely vr dev stuff soon (tm) (:
