This evening ie June 25, while travelling on the A30 BEST bus route, Bus no.8660 from Pandit Paluskar Chowk, my mobile phone accidentally fell off in the bus unknowingly while deboarding. On reaching my destination, I realised I didn't have my phone & called my number.

@MTPHereToHelp Grateful for the work Mumbai Traffic Police officers do every day to keep our traffic moving smoothly. I wish to highlight a safety concern for your officers on the Eastern Express Highway at the junction where the BKC bridge merges with the main highway traffic

Traffic Officers stationed there manage heavy traffic from both Sion and BKC while enduring intense heat and monsoon rains,often WITHOUT adequate shelter. Could a permanent police chowky or elevated stand be created along the subway side to provide shade & improve their safety?

I was relieved when conductor Tanaji answered and assured me that my phone was safe.
On my request, he kindly consented to hand it over to me on his return trip from Vikhroli. He handed over my phone at the designated stop. My sincere thanks to Conductor Tanaji from bus A30

@mybmcWardL Dear Sir, Everard Nagar still flooded @7.20 pm.The Highway road is raised as well as the road behind the building. Unfortunately whilst doing so,the drainage outlets have not been considered not cleared.water has collected within premises like a swimming pool since morning.

@rj_bosco @mybmcWardL @mybmc @MTPHereToHelp It's 1pm and the situation in Everard Nagar colony and the Everard Chunnabhatti subway is the same. Drains need to be cleared and cleaned urgently @mybmc , @MTPHereToHelp

@rj_bosco @mybmcWardL @mybmc Requesting the BMC to urgently see to repairs & functioning of the only subway during the monsoons, out here on the Eastern Express Hway.Pedestrians are forced to run across busy highway when the Everard Chunnabhatti subway gets flooded & not operational.Dangerous @MTPHereToHelp

@MTPHereToHelp I appreciate your prompt reply .thank you very much .Today most of us missed going to work due to this flooding in the subway and in the Everard colony due to the main drains not being cleared @mybmc. Running across the highway wasn't an option 😔

@rj_bosco @myBESTBus @aaplibest @mybm Alloted space during the monsoons for commuters to wait for public transport.Area is mucky &dirty. Request to pls shift the bus stop towards the subway side on the H'way like how it's done on the other side. It would be safer during monsoons @MTPHereToHelp , @myBESTBus thank you

@rj_bosco @mybmcWardL @mybmc Can the BMC get the subway on the EAstern Express Hway repaired and operational during the monsoons. Pedestrians are running across the busy highway whenever this Everard Chunnabhatti subway is closed and not operational due to flooding. Danger to lives @MTPHereToHelp @mybmc
