Nairobi's drainage system hasn't been upgraded since independence.
But let's ignore all expansion regulations, take kickbacks, and approve 75-storey buildings.

These, my friends, are consequences of your own choices at the ballot.

It was really nice for the negotiations to continue up-to the point of an initialized Return to Work Formula.

Now we know 3.5B to pay drs their accrued salary arrears is available.

We also know 2.4B is available for Internship program.

800M is also available for Post-Grad training and other CBAs.

However, the drs demand for a relook of these monies totaling 6.7B and prioritize posting and paying interns as per CBA terms at 5B isn’t an option.

Isn’t that a solution straight from the drs trying to ‘live within means’?

Yet the answer is still a NO. Why:

1. It was never a lack of money in the first place. It was pure provocation. Nothing more.

2. Governors are now salivating for this 3.5B negotiated by KMPDU so they procure roads and markets with it for kickbacks’ sake. And they already appeared before parliament asking for 5.8B while sacking the same drs they use to demand for money which they’ll never pay them.

And that dear friends is the country you call Kenya.
