@blackatlantic I somewhat agree but dont entirely as there are styles ( particularly artificial ones) that excell at blitz but show lack of understanding when it comes to classical. Lots of 15-1900 can perform at 2200 level at blitz just because they play the most obvious moves
@Braden_Laughlin Learning through engine analysis is the most efficient way for a club player to improve because it forces them to interact with the variations rather than taking than taking a concept that they dont fully understand from someone else
@TEDchris@elonmusk Hat is the meaning of life? He already has pretty much all the money in the world but does that obscure any meaning life has. Does he feel any more fulfilled now?
@Mrjimjones71 However imagine say your d4 pawn is on e5 suddenly it still wouldnt work because after 1.Bxh7 Kxh7 2. Ng5 Kg8 3. Qh5 black would have 3.Qd3! Winning
@Mrjimjones71 Kh8 5.Qh5+ Kg8 6.Qh7+ Kf8 7. Qh8+ Ke7 Qxg7#. Note this variation there is no bishop on e7 because that allows Bxg5 as in this game. However if you have already played h4 you could meet this with hxg5 winning. Also it would be important to have a pawn on e5 to prevent Kd6.
@thestrongchess Amazingly I think it is right and that Qh5 is only winning move. Every else black equalizes with Nd7 idea. To me he defense is far more beautiful that the win
