"My Kind Of Indian"
DSP Hina Khan in Gwalior. The supporters of Advocate Mishra tried provoking her by श्री राम chants and in response she chanted जय श्री राम. Confining prabhu Ram in selective compartments is pure ignorance. Prabhu Ram is religion neutral. He is the essence of india, for Hindus,Muslims, sikh and Christians. Every Indian. Welldone Hina Khan.
This is the neonatal ICU of M.Y. Hospital in Indore, the largest govt hospital in MP.
Rats are roaming around freely. Two newborns, who died in the last two days due to prematurity, anomalies and related complications, had rat bite marks on their bodies. As per media reports, the last pest control at the hospital was carried out five years ago.
How is this acceptable in the modern era, @DrMohanYadav51?
On this auspicious occasion of Ram Navami, the Archaeological Survey of India extends heartfelt greetings to all.
Prabhu Ram, the 7th incarnation of Vishnu has been one of the most inspiring figures through the ages.
Notably, the story of Lord Rama's righteousness, courage and sacrifice from age old text of Ramayana are etched on the walls of temples all across our nation and beyond for more than last 1500 years.
Today, we bring some of the masterpieces showcasing various episodes from Ramayana beautifully depicted signifying that the tale has been popular transcending the time and space.
As we celebrate the birth of Lord Ram, let us honor and preserve the rich cultural heritage associated with his legacy. May this festival inspire us to continue cherishing and protecting our nation's invaluable heritage.
Pic. 1 - Dashavatar temple at Lalitpur (UP) is famous for some of the earliest and most vivid depictions from the life of Ram. In this image, Ram is liberating Ahalya while travelling to Mithila along with Lakshman and sage Vishvamitra (5th cen. CE)
“[Mom:] Why did I put you in army?
This time you didnt come on #Diwali,
Didnt come for sis’ wedding.
Atleast come this Diwali,
Seems you’ve wife there.
[Son:] All day, ammunition rounds screach in ears,
Our Diwali is everyday at border.”
Proud to be #Sikh
A very old but factually correct incident, worth reading.........
"Keep lodging complaints, nothing will happen.
Keep moving the courts, nothing will happen.
Keep covering in media, nothing will happen.
Go & attack the police station, round up the cops, bring them to the military barracks, and treat them well as terrorists.
Then bells will ring up to the CM & PM office.
The CO should be ready to sacrifice his service (compulsory retirement/dismissal).
Four or five COs, should sacrifice for the military institution, like for the country.
This police गुंडागर्दी will stop forthwith.
I remember while posted to MH Golconda, Hyderabad when the child of a jawan of 8 GARH RIF was abducted by local muslim, cut to pieces & thrown into the old dry well.
Reason-the sentry stopped the civilian entry into regiment premises, who wanted to go to CSD to buy some stuff.
The arguments broke out between the two & the civilian went away after threatening him with dire consequences.
The Unit was out on ex & only SM & a few jawans were present in the Unit.
SM kept running up & down the police station & contacting SP but nothing happened & even FIR was not registered.
Suddenly one of the school mates of the child told his parents that some people took away the boy, which reached SM through family meet & they traced out the dead body thrown into the well behind the Unit lines.
The SM & a few jawans immediately rushed to the PS & told the whole story but cops on duty misbehaved with SM & told him to fuck off & mind his own business.
The SM got everyone to fall in, got Into 3 Tons with rifles & barged the PS gate, vandalized every piece of furniture, telephone, fan etc; rounded up all the cops on duty, loaded them in the 3 Ton & brought them to unit Quarter Guard.
They had the cops well, hung them upside down & thrashed them black & blue, including the DSP.
The Unit was seething in anger & pain.
CM rang up PMO who asked COAS, Gen Joshi.
Then the whole hell broke loose.
The Bde Cdr asked SM 8 GARH to release the cops but he refused the Bde Cdr’s orders.
Then another SIKH Regt posted in the same Bde was asked to move in & rescue the cops.
SM of SIKH Bn was a clued up & a very wise man.
He got along his pal with all respect & humility & made him understand the gravity of the situation.
The CO 8 GARH arrived & stood by his SM.
Gen Joshi had flown from Delhi & he fired the CO & had him.
Refused to listen to CO & kept on saying shut up, fuck you till CO’s patience gave away & he mounted on COAS, putting everything of his at stake.
COAS went away, cops were released, SM got honorary rank but CO’s future was sealed.
CO could not make it to next rank but he could meet & see his troops directly into their eyes & earned humungous respect amongst his men, he commanded.
I was a Major at that time & stood up from my chair when this SM came on sick report after some time & saluted him.
He was quite surprised to see my behaviour & I explained to him that he deserves the same from whole of the Indian Army from all ranks .
I shared with him a cup of tea & biscuits & had a good tête-à-tête with him for about an hour.
Then one day CO 8 GARH happened to visit me for his AME, when I repeated my drill, as I had done with his SM, signed him SHARE-1 without looking at his lab reports or examining him.
CO too was a bit bewildered with my this out of sync behaviour & politely demanded explanation for my largesse.
I said no one can be more fit than you in Indian Army who could withstand the uncalled for thunderous volleys of our pusillanimous COAS, & at some point of time gave him back.
That is a man, that is the quality, I look in for my officers to be declared as medically fit.
Courage of conviction
We became very good friends later & 8 GARH became my second Unit after MH Golconda.
Jai Hind, Sir !"
