A major forest fire has broken out in the Carbonaire area of La Vall d'Uixó, in the province of Castellón, Valencia region, Spain.

Emergency crews have activated the forest fire response plan, with seven aircraft and numerous ground teams battling the flames.

A nearby residential area has been evacuated, while residents in La Vilavella have been told to stay indoors due to heavy smoke. Avoid the area and keep roads clear for emergency crews.
