Just had a friend change the password to this account to something I don’t know, it seems like a silly way to stay offline but ik it’s the right thing for my mental health.👋🏻 Bye y’all 👋🏻

[The NL NDP @NLNDP]

Minimum wage workers continue to fall further and further behind.

Gov NL raised minimum wage to $14.50/h today. Even with the increase, a min wage worker working full time hours is earning a legislated poverty wage.

Virginia Woolf took her own life 82 years ago on this day. Here is the beautiful final letter she left for her husband, my great-uncle Leonard Woolf 💜

over the past 5 years 2840+ mass shootings have occured in the us, 3 of those shooters have been trans. guns are the number 1 killer of children 1-18 and the right are salivating over a school shooter being trans to deflect away from the main issue. ease of access to weapons.

[No Lie with Brian Tyler Cohen @NoLieWithBTC]

Woah. A mother in Nashville just took over a live stream on Fox News to call out Republicans’ opposition to gun reform. (h/t @atrupar)

@bowringpork @MemorialU Took me 1 hour and 26 mins to get to campus today 😀 (normally around 18 mins LMAO)

[Connor Franta @connorfranta]

put on my little bitch costume this morning and broke your goofy record

[Rhea R @hansnf]

This is totally inappropriate from @MemorialU. First off, any statement should come direct from the Board, not MUN. Board members are the university's boss. This statement retrenches the perception of the Board just rubber-stamping what university employees tell it to do. /1

"Imagine if people in the US protested like this" THEY DID! In 2020! The police beat the shit out of us! You all were there!

I legitimately cannot fucking stand the new Spotify layout, not everything has to be a tiktok format

[Brandon Streussnig @BrndnStrssng]

We’ve been sorely lacking a Harrison Ford type who fucking hates the thing they’re most popular for. Finally, a hero.

Vianne makes $52,000.00 every 6 weeks while I walk through this every day to get to sit in a classroom next to a bucket that gets funnelled leak water into it from a hose in the ceiling :)

[Camryn Nichols @Cam_BerrySauce]

How is it that Vianne Timmons is making $52k on a 6 week leave, but students at MUN (and Grenfell) are literally living in squallor with bugs and mold and the meal plan isn't even half decent. Seriously. Why do we have to pay for laundry when they don't service the machines?
