Just finished Dolphins vs Chiefs film…
- We often say in sports, “there’s no moral victories” but yesterday was great for the Dolphins
- Chiefs look like the most complete team in the NFL through 3 weeks and Fins gave them everything they could handle all 4 quarters.
- After last week’s game vs 49ers with miscommunication, blown coverage, stagnant offense. The fins responded and executed at a level that you can build from!
- I really like Malik Willis. He’s improving weekly, competes his ass off, fast as hell, big arm and plays without fear
- Has a lot of room for growth as an all around QB but the talent is there and this year of reps will give the front office great insight
- Losing Achane for the season is terrible, one of the best players in the league, regardless of position
- Chris Bell 👀
Great to see him get out and space where you can see the unique combo of size and speed
- Ollie Gordon played really well, and will be great to follow him moving forward
- was impressed by the OLine as a whole. Still room for improvement but they were consistently good yesterday
- I know the Fins only put up 10 points but we moved the ball really efficiently against Spags and the Chiefs defense
This is my third time seeing Arch Manning play live and my thoughts leaving the stadium have been the same after each. Tools are clear, but the consistency is not. His biggest issue continues to be that he locks onto targets and doesn’t always read coverage. He thrives in chaos.
Malik Willis vs the blitz this season:
3 of 11 (27%)
4.5 Y/A
lowest completion % vs the blitz in the NFL
Steve Spagnuolo is blitzing 29% of the time (12th)
Miami is the only team in the NFL without a sack
25% pressure rate (31st)
Patrick Mahomes last week:
32 of 47, 382 yards, 3 TD
Career-high 14 play-action completions
7 completions on throws 10+ yards downfield

Just finished Dolphins O vs 49ers film…
- this will be a longgg season for the Fins, with a lot of growing pains
- Still a very important season for a lot of players and for the coaching staff
- Looking for young players to emerge and cement themselves as apart of this new regime in Miami
- I still feel the young WR group can be special
- Malik Willis can play! Very talented QB, and will love to see him develop and operate the offense in a more efficient way. By that I mean, the easy completion, the check downs, the true “timing routes”. Not having to extend plays so much
- 49ers DLine movement and activity was a problem the entire day!
- Offense had 1 good drive that looked comfortable and rhythmic, other than that 😔
- Achane was hit in the backfield more times than ever before
- Sidenote: De’Von Achane is simply one of the best football players in the world!
- I’ll speak more on the offense on my show tonight
Just finished Dolphins vs Raiders film…
Offensively, Achane got the Raiders undivided attention.
They had a strict game plan for him in the run game and with screens.
Malik Willis is fast af! I thought he played well, but offense never found a rhythm!
Dolphins young WR core could end up being special.
Caleb Douglas is a dawg!
Will talk more about the OL on my show tonight.

Jim Harbaugh says he keeps his pen out around Mike McDaniel at all times because he expects to learn something at any moment
“He’s so intelligent. Book smart, football smart, all the smart, street smart, you name it. People ask me, ‘Well, how smart are they, Coach?’”
“And I go, ‘I don’t know. They’re so smart that I don’t know how smart they are.’ What’s it like being around Mike? He’s just a great guy. He’s hilarious. He’s funny. The meetings that he has, I’ve got my pen out.”
“I’m writing things down because there’s like a nugget of gold that comes out of every one of those interactions, whether him and I are talking on the field or in his office or mine or in the meetings.”
“I mean, it’s two, three, four a day. I like to listen to this guy talk. I like what he’s saying. He’s got the keys to the offense, and we’re all behind him.”
Kyle McCord heading to the #Dolphins means he’ll be reunited with Miami pass game coordinator Kevin Patullo, who was OC in Philly last year when McCord was with the #Eagles.
The #Dolphins waived running back Jarquez Hunter, whom the team just acquired from the Rams for Tutu Atwell.
He didn't play against the Falcons, which means that was a straight salary dump.
Not sure why they didn't just keep him on the initial 53-man roster.
🎥 Troy Aikman on the potential conflict of interest while calling games for ESPN due to his involvement with the Miami Dolphins:
"The Dolphins are not expected to be very good this year... there's no Monday night game with the Dolphins this year." (@dalehansen) #PhinsUp
.@MikeClayNFL discusses the fantasy value of De'Von Achane this year, and whether it's hurt any since he is playing on a team not expected to be very good.

Trade: The #Patriots are trading OT Caedan Wallace to the #Dolphins, per sources.
New England planned to release Wallace, but Miami called and were able to get him before the move was processed.
More in Miami: Dolphins Chairman and Owner Stephen M. Ross also named Daniel Sillman Chief Executive Officer of Ross Sports &
Entertainment, which includes Ross’ full sports portfolio. Sillman has worked alongside Ross for the past decade. Sillman will also oversee football operations for the Dolphins, with Head Coach Jeff Hafley, General Manager Jon-Eric Sullivan and Executive Vice President of Football Operations Brandon Shore reporting directly to him.
