@TS_Trains@CHG3899 I don't think you can ever avoid that, regardless of how you look. Sadly many hetero people just assume everyone is like them. I know how you feel, it's so embarrassing when people ask "do you have a wife/gf" etc, then I have to correct them ๐
@Toadsanime Things were financially very good in the 80s, 90s and early 2000s. Even though interest rates were high. People starting work then and buying homes were fortunate. So basically boomers and older Gen-X.
@martyncodes@thrivahealth I'm not sure what the solution to the no-show problem is. I would imagine most surgeries could easily fill each slot for a week ahead, but then if, say, 25% of patients don't turn up, that's a big chunk of appts that could have gone to others ๐คทโโ๏ธ
@martyncodes I think if I was in charge of everything I would make a regional pay cap, say ~ยฃ250k pa depending on area. No one needs more than that.
Also people would get paid based on skills required and unpleasantness of job. Public toilet cleaners would get highly paid, for example.
@TS_Trains I think your favourite hobby would be trainspotting ๐ , but I'm guessing video games and D&D perhaps as well.
Guessing height at 5'10". First one on the list is kinda obvious ๐ Can't take any stabs at the others!
@martyncodes It would be hugely unpopular but I also wonder if it's morally right. I don't know. ๐คทโโ๏ธ I might be biased as my parents never had much to give away, myself and all my siblings had to get by on our own.
@Flip5ide666 I've always taken middle aged to be the period between being old enough to be a grandparent, and retirement. So about 45-65. I would say 65+ is "old age" but I know people 65+ who come across as younger.
