"I’m just like my father" or "I keep hurting everyone because I’m a monster and it’s in my nature" are the delusions he feeds himself to deviate the responsibility from himself, he’d rather dehumanize himself than acknowledge his ability to grow.
Michael is quite self aware, he just doesn’t want to put in the effort of leaving his comfort zone. Like he acknowledges that he hurts those around him, but he still avoids the accountability of changing and improving himself.
I also snapped out of 3 suicidal episodes because Bang Bang started playing and I locked in for Nicki's rap. After the first time I started deliberating playing it to help.
I keep thinking about that one time I was trying to drink chemicals in the bathroom right next to my schizophrenic brother's room and I didn't go through with it because I could hear him talking dirty with the voices in his head
Post bite Michael is an awfully blank canvas, he doesn’t want to think or act for himself, he strips away his individuality and independence because he wants to cease to exist, that’s why it was easier for him to follow his father’s every order thoroughly

If you look at it in an absurdist way, Michael laughs all the time. He keeps putting himself into absurd situations because that's what he finds funny. Guilt and grief can make you do alot of irrational things but Michael has learned how to entertain himself in the middle of it
I don't blame William for becoming a serial killer because even just imagining having to parent Michael, Evan, AND Elizabeth at the same time made me stressed. they'd be awful. you'd have to keep them in cages so they don't bite each other
This was my entire childhood and I’ve never been able to describe it properly; my siblings used to slam doors to make me cry because I thought they were hurting the house
Maturing is realising Michael didnt spend 20 years dicking around in the time gap between SL and FNAF 3, it probably did take him that long to heal from the damage post SL. The massive time gap is frustrating but personally I think I wouldve taken much longer to recover
