Since 2023, I have kept the same pinned post because I feel that post (the one discussing "my side of history") is the most important sentiment I have ever posted on this platform.
For the short-term future, however, I am changing that pinned post to this one, because it is of such crucial importance to our nation's survival.
Here goes.
The Democrat Party is in the process of being taken over by the Democrat Socialists of America (the "DSA").
The DSA is an explicitly Marxist organization.
Marxism has impoverished more people and genocidally murdered more of humanity than all other ideologies ever to exist in human history combined.
It is a grotesque form of evil that is wholly incompatible with the Constitution of the United States of America.
Marxism in all its forms must be reviled and publicly treated with the same disdain with which intelligent adults view Naziism, pedophilia, serial murderers and cannibalism.
Do not back down. Each and every time you encounter Marxism in any of its forms, please call it out for the evil that it is. It is a rapidly metastasizing cancer that can only be defeated by public awareness.
Thank you.
Thank you, @laralogan! The future of journalism no longer runs through gatekeepers @ABC, @FoxNews, @CNN, @CBSNews & others. It runs through platforms such as @tiktok_us, @YouTube…. The race is now on for tech companies to build the next generation of news organizations and hire their own correspondents.
I have a feeling Trump KNEW the Supreme Court would overturn his birthright citizenship changes. He says he has a plan for what to do next. I have a few suggestions as well:
- Strengthen border security, interior enforcement, and visa restrictions.
- Increase removal of noncitizens before they have US-born children.
- Limit federal/state benefits for illegal immigrants and require proof of parental status for as much as constitutionally possible.
- Cut back and tighten H-1B, student, and tourist visas.
- Improve the tracking of immigration status for birth records.
Today’s decision regarding birthright citizenship is a travesty.
The Fourteenth Amendment was written to overturn Dred Scott and guarantee citizenship to freed slaves—not to create automatic citizenship for the children of those who violate our immigration laws or are only temporarily in the United States. This decision will only invite further exploitation of our immigration system.
The Court adopted an interpretation that departs from the original meaning of the Constitution and incentivizes illegal immigration.
Congress retains the authority to clarify federal law, and it should act immediately to restore the original meaning of the Citizenship Clause and protect the integrity of American citizenship.
The 14th amendment was adopted by more than 2/3rds of the members of Congress and thereafter ratified by 3/4ths of the states. Yet, nowhere can the Court or its proponents point to all those elected representatives at the federal and state level who argued for birthright citizenship for the children of aliens — illegal aliens of all matter! In fact, it wasn’t even on their collective mind. They were dealing with Reconstruction, which was going poorly.
No, this is not a constitutional decision. It’s a cowardly decision. An abomination giving constitutional protection to what is illegal conduct.
I know this will be an unpopular view but @CongressmanKean shouldn’t be reelected. His explanation leaves more questions than it answers. More importantly, anyone who needs months in an inpatient depression unit has a mental illness severe enough to prevent reelection.
I introduced a constitutional amendment months ago, actually, to fix birthright citizenship.
After the Supreme Court decision, that amendment matters more than ever. I'm asking my colleagues to take it seriously and help me get this passed.
I just finished reading Clarence Thomas's dissent. I encourage you to do the same. If you take the time to read Roberts's opinion and compare it to Thomas's dissent, Thomas completely outclasses Roberts. His is a step-by-step history and constitutional lessen that brilliantly and methodically unravels every aspect of Roberts's argument.
