My YES vote is *not* an endorsement of this deeply flawed CR.
My YES vote is 💯 about refusing to shut our government down.
I refuse to punish working families and plunge millions of Americans into chaos.
I will never, ever, ever, ever, ever vote to shut our government down.
Never thought I would say this, but I like that the president is promoting Tesla. If everybody buys EVs we can dismantle the oil companies and invest in wind and solar power. Great environmental push from this White House.
@treeaston I agree! Theory is great but reality is different. Politics should be complex and hard to do to make sure ideas come through and perspectives are heard. But also nimble enough to fluctuate with time. A conundrum to begin with!
Democrats, April 2025.
We shut the government down to make a statement.
Set the chaos into motion as it continued to spiral.
Millions of lives damaged, many without a paycheck.
The Eureka! Moment: GOP owns the only exit ramp.
Only 48 hours after Trump's hard turn toward Russia, an emergency meeting of NATO countries, plus Ukraine, WITHOUT the US.
The world is moving on without the US.
I want to save billions of your money and make our government more efficient.
Rummaging through your personal shit is *not* that.
A party of chaos loses—always.
Despicable. As families grieve, Trump should be leading, not lying. We put safety first, drove down close calls, grew Air Traffic Control, and had zero commercial airline crash fatalities out of millions of flights on our watch.
President Trump now oversees the military and the FAA. One of his first acts was to fire and suspend some of the key personnel who helped keep our skies safe. Time for the President to show actual leadership and explain what he will do to prevent this from happening again.
When I think of the consummate public servant, I think of Bob Casey. What a legacy this man has built and what an honor it has been to work with him and the talented folks he’s surrounded himself with to get things done on behalf of Pennsylvania. Job well done, sir.
There’s no job I’m afraid to lose if it requires me to degrade anyone.
If that’s a defining issue for a voter, there will be a different candidate.
We have a bathroom in my office that anybody is welcome to use, including Representative-elect Sarah McBride.
