Thank you to all of our extraordinary staff, partners and volunteers here at West Midlands Probation Service. Your continued dedication and pride to protect the public and change lives doesn’t go unnoticed 👏
2 full weeks into the new role as SPO & I am loving it! Whole new set of challenges and dynamic but I am embracing the learning & development 🙌🏻
Leaving the Young Adults team to become SPO in the generic field team- mixed emotions! I am excited about the new challenge ahead however will definitely miss my young adults and having a case load.
Fab visit to @HMPGrendSpring today for their social afternoon. Great experience being able to speak to men both currently engaging and who have completed the therapeutic environment! Progress and lots of self-refection was evident 👏🏻
7 months in the young adults specialist sentence delivery team & loving it! Very complex group to work with, complex needs & high levels of support needed but when the support is right we have the chance to make massive differences. No day is ever the same!
1 month back at work after maternity leave! Weird returning but definitely getting back into the stride of things & remembering why I love my career.
Now just to get rid of these nursery germs that keep making an appearance 😪
BBC2 Schedule. Starting 20 Feb at 9pm, a five part TV documentary following Parole Board oral hearings and decision making. Worth a watch if you want to know more about the work of the Parole Board. Details of episode 1 ...
@DeenaParmar @jakephillips Great article. I went through this experience during training, thankfully with a very supportive SPO. I definitely think it changed my perspective as a practitioner.
The tweet I never wanted to write. The time has come to say goodbye. 5 years to prepare, doesn’t make it any easy. I’m under hospice at home care, & I’m spending my time surrounded by my family. Please buy me a 🍷 to see me out and raise vitial funds. https://t.co/AztN5FziLR ❤️
3 days ago I promised myself no more university courses for a while, after finishing 2 back to back….can someone please tell me why I am now researching further postgraduate courses? 🤷🏻♀️😩
