The Nigerian equities market may have extended its profit-taking phase, but analyst sentiment tells a different story. Despite recent declines in the benchmark indices, Capital Market Operators (CMOs) largely maintained their Buy recommendations across fundamentally strong stocks, signalling confidence that the current correction is driven more by valuation resets and portfolio rebalancing than by any deterioration in corporate fundamentals.
The banking sector continues to dominate institutional preference, with @theaccesscorp, @ZenithBank, FIRSTHOLDCO (@FirstBankngr), @MyFCMB, @UBAGroup and ETI (@GroupEcobank) attracting broad positive ratings. Constructive recommendations also persisted across selected industrial, oil & gas, consumer goods and ICT counters, reflecting expectations of resilient earnings, stronger capital positions and attractive dividend prospects.
Looking ahead, the market is expected to remain selective as investors balance elevated fixed-income yields against improving equity valuations. Attention is likely to shift toward second-quarter earnings expectations, macroeconomic developments, and policy signals that could influence institutional positioning.
While near-term volatility may persist, analysts believe the ongoing correction presents opportunities to accumulate fundamentally sound stocks ahead of the next earnings cycle, suggesting that conviction in the Nigerian equity market remains intact despite recent price weakness.

When you decide to act on a gossip/rumor without verifying, you often end up ruining something good for yourself which may become impossible to mend after you realized it was just gossip. But then you deal with the consequences all alone while the gossiper just live his/her life.
Humans spend most if not all part of our existence on immortality project. I then wonder how does this actually benefits the person? This project is what the people we leave behind use as metric for a life well spent or not. Who then is the life really lived for?
#immortality
@MTforChange It’s almost impossible for most people to introduce themselves without having to mention their status, job title, qualifications &wealth. Reason why it’s becoming so hard for people to form a genuine connection this days. We respect/fall in love with status and not the person.
@RitableP How easy is it to find women that actually love unconditionally? You as a man doing everything with the intention that she’s in just as you, later to realize you have been subscribing for her companionship.
@jon_d_doe 3. I always appreciate women that own up their sh*t, learn from it and always ready to grow and I believe any man would like to be with such persons regardless of their age.
@jon_d_doe 1. I believe there shouldn’t be any defined standards as regards age difference between couples. The only problem is that most women lack the ability to truthfully narrate their experiences and past ways of life to the man, and I think that’s because they never really changed
@jon_d_doe 2. It’s easier to be open and truthful if you’ve actually accepted your mistakes and grow from your errors. But it’s unfortunately most women aren’t ready to take responsibility for where they find themselves. They’ll rather cook up stories that portray them as the victim.
@PNmesomaJohn@DavidoMbaramah@jon_d_doe There are some that are teachable, ready to learn and turn a new leaf. It’s ok to teach such persons. But I would agree that it’s ok to leave when you noticed she’s not ready to change and constantly does that you’ve told her not to do.
