@li4flip It’s okay to let other people have different political beliefs than you. Also, following someone doesn’t necessarily mean that you align with their views. It’s just social media 🤷
@Jules99b@vmstagemom I don’t think that Zach’s interested in a “win in 8 years” move. Otherwise he would’ve just stuck it out with Marjorie. This is a power play for immediate success as well.
@TheKeyster1498@sassslg@circulartwizzle That’s clearly a PR answer because Ellie made it clear that she’s done. If she retires first then he won’t have the backlash of ditching his partner for another
@perksofbeingHC I think the point she was trying to make is that he is a very difficult player to work with because he seems to go against the premise of the game itself. It’s like playing Monopoly or Uno with someone that refuses to play by the rules and makes up their own stuff
@nizzwoo89 @oglafsdottir (2) post this clip because the slow-mo will inevitably invites us to scrutinize the cleanliness of her turns. Not trying to be condescending, just sharing my honest opinion. It’s on video for all of us to see
@nizzwoo89 @oglafsdottir You spelled interia, not inertia, hence my confusion.
What is your definition of a clean turn? What is the first turn in her cluster? Kamila is indeed one of the most talented singles skaters in history, and I never questioned that. I just criticized the decision to (1)
@nizzwoo89 @oglafsdottir (2) her other qualities! This particular clip may not be this big flex because if I’m a judge, I’m now going to look for this particular cluster in her step sequence and may only award a level 3. I don’t even think you can name the first turn to be honest? 😂
@nizzwoo89 @oglafsdottir What are you even talking about? Shift in interia? What does that even mean? I’ve been skating for almost 20 years, she does change edge, end of the story. I feel like you don’t want to accept this because you’re such a stan of hers but like I said that doesn’t take away from (1)
@nizzwoo89 @oglafsdottir As an ice dancer myself, I have a very clear understanding of what defines a clean turn. She changes edge right before the apex of the turn, making this a 3-turn and not a counter. She has other great qualities, I’m merely just pointing out that this slow-mo may not be so smart..
@melbrown00 Also important to point out that half the time she did play Survivor, she was up against a STACKED cast in Gamechangers and 50. She’s not my favorite player but she is objectively a very good player. Numbers don’t lie 🤷🏾♂️
@ourkami All raving about her “edge control” but I feel like Benoit put her on blast with this slow-mo because the counter is NOT clean… Definitely a three-turn. She should watch Zhenya Lopareva’s outside counters
@UpholdTheISUBan Couldn’t agree more. Great edge quality but her skating does nothing for me. I particularly found issue with her skating to the Nutcracker last year when she lacks turnout and doesn’t engage the quad or glutes of her free side. Save the ballet programs for Kolyada or Chen
@Lunalysaa Rewatching this really makes you realize how much cheating was done. Not a single pointed toe, zero turnout, travelling sit spin and whatever the heck that flying camel was and even the jumps were tight… extremely poor skating skills that we could nitpick for days
