@sama@tony_carnev Thoughts on doing something proactively like ID verification for preview period access, rather than the Gov thinking they should step in?
Once gov starts, they only move in one direction..
@theo Massive. For many of our customers (F100, banks, PE), to get approval to enable AI in our platform, this will make it 1,000x easier than getting OpenAI approved directly.
@thsottiaux Allow me to set a different model/reasoning effort/speed on different sessions.
I want one thread on medium, another on xhigh/fast. Can't do that at the same time right now.
@mcuban Very similar to asking two human experts today and getting two different answers. This isn't the biggest challenge, we have many things to solve before worrying about this too much.
Tesla Insurance update
With the latest version of Safety Score (v3.0), every mile you drive with FSD Supervised enabled will receive a score of 100.
This allows you to maintain a higher average safety score over time, resulting in lower monthly insurance premiums.
Applies to new policies in Indiana, Tennessee, Texas, Arizona, Virginia & Illinois
@karpathy Without fail, every agent product that implements memory has a large number of complaints roughly 2-4 weeks after memory was put in place.
Hardest things: naming, cache invalidation, forgetting memory
I think if we were to update weights for memory, it would have to be in a “side-car” model that is portable at whatever level you are working with. So the main model retains nothing, making the security model much easier to deal with within an enterprise. Everytime I start playing around with this, it always involves many layers of “memory”.
@ajambrosino Awesome! Might be me, but it seems MCP might have an issue. I have chrome-devtools and it's not able to see it, even though it's listed under the "MCP". Works in the terminal just fine
@kenwheeler Right... had to send 6 photos from my phone through gmail today where it couldn't be a G drive link... took 10 min and had to send 3 separate emails to finally get it..
