@itvfootball Pretty sure Harry Kane should be in this conversation. He's matching Mbappe and Haaland and has played the hardest opposition of all of them so far.
Ordered a 40 minutes delivery time @ubereats_uk grocery order from Asda.
(I'm ill and needed food! No judging ok?).
3 hours later it's still 40 minutes away.
Lesson: Don't use #Ubereats
@philrainey Not to this scale.
With enough dedication I could get tickets to whatever gig I wanted.
Now you sign on and there are 250k bots in front of you.
Ticketmaster and touts have ruined concert going experience.
Been trying from 7am for both Ireland and England Oasis tickets.
Started on 260k for Ireland.
All English ones are 100k+ for 80k venues. Then kicked out.
Bring back in person ticket offices. At least they were fair.
@MilesBrighton @Gracie_M1984 @NoContextBrits Pretty sure 97-2010 were labour government and they were some of the most prosperous years this country has ever had. Living standards for the average person increased, NHS was the best health system in the world and everyone over 14 years old lived through then.
Stop your B.S.
@Scott_teach@adamboxer1 I think alot of it is down to the road network. In Aus you can drive for hours w/out stopping or slowing to a crawl so its far less mentally taxing. Whereas in the UK the small country roads or perpetually jammed up motorways make it a far more arduous task with lots of stopping.
@RustyRabona@Windsor_Watcher @EmergMedDr Hi.
Sorry I was referring to some chart I'd seen somewhere so was not meaning to demean Doctors pay struggles.
I fully support their pay offer and only wished teachers had held out longer last year.
@Libertarian__UK@john_dt11@richardosefton "and with paper candidates, it's accepted and is commonplace."
So people do vote for just parties then.
They sure as hell aren't voting for a random name.
I know what you are trying to say with the technicality of it having a candidate name, & sure some people vote for an indy.
@col_afc@ubereats_uk@McDonaldsUK Someone trying to cheer up their upset child whilst being too ill themselves to go and fetch it.
My preference? No.
But it's not about me or you.
