@stuartasterling Don’t know you. This came across my feed. My wife and I lost our three year old son in 2017. Thought it would kill me. But, by the grace of God here we still are. May comfort and peace find you.
A #prayer I first composed from #ecclesiastes3 in 2019. I led these words with my congregation again yesterday. The #timesandseasons that have come between then and now. Yet #thereisgrace in all. May we all find it.
@PJandThomas My wife and I live in Cleveland, TN & serve as foster parents. So many times I’ve heard about shortages of foster homes nationwide. I just can’t see how it’s even helpful to deny good homes the opportunity to serve. You all keep up the good work!
@RobbyWaddell I believe our sr pastor is working from gospel of John, ch. 14. I’m trying to catch up on producing podcast - thinking of tying Ascension/Pentecost together this coming week - ‘What Goes Up Must Come Down’
@philaud Father is COG minister - raised Pentecostal. I work in a UMC - had both of my children baptized. Entire family came and it was a profound moment. I’m picking up what you’re laying down here.
I tried something different on Pneumaturgical Podcast this week and walked through ‘Stations of the Resurrection’. Stop in and 🎧 for some Easter season reflections.
I’m looking forward to having a cup of coffee and talking through some interesting points from my recent conversations with @RobbyWaddell and @cb_johns - join me tomorrow evening!
Bible 🤓post: Trying to linger in the #easter morning still...trying to imagine myself there for the #resurrection . These women head toward the tomb - imagine their #resilience - knowing the pain of walking into grief, possibly ridicule by the soldiers at the tomb.
So, if we are the #bodyofchrist ,hands, feet -aren’t we the ones to help move stones sometimes for those who keep showing up to do the work even when they are ridiculed, demeaned?
