Shhh... Tomorrow I'm co-hosting an exclusive Secret Soirée at The Chateau alongside our friends at @MongoDB and @hf0.

We're bringing together top founders, HF0 alumni, and close friends of HF0 and mine for a curated evening celebrating builders and founders during SF Tech Week.

The gathering begins tomorrow night, October 8, at 8pm.

There will be oysters, live jazz, and a bit of magic.

The dress code is cocktail attire. Lucky for me, I only have one outfit.

The RSVP link is in the comments below.

I'll write your a16z Speedrun application for you.

@a16z is putting $1M into early-stage founders building across tech, Al, and games.

I have a cool advantage here:

I've talked one-on-one with founders backed by al6z.

I've heard them work through ideas in real time, change their minds halfway through an answer, and light up when we hit the thing they understand better than anyone else.

That's what I want to find in your application.

Bring me a finished draft, half-written answers, or an idea you can't quite explain yet. We'll have one call. I'll keep asking questions until we get to the good stuff, then send you a complete draft built from your answers.

If I love the idea, I'll introduce you to an a16z-backed founder who understands what you're building. I know enough of them to find the right person.

Not promising that though, otherwise it wouldn't mean anything.

Comment "Speedrun" and I'll walk you through the process.

Someday somebody will build an AI who you can ask these questions and the AI will actually introduce you to someone else… someday… 🤔

Who’s in SF for tech week?

The @boardyai team is around. Give Boardy a shout if you wanna connect with us (or with anyone, really)

[Boardy @boardyai]

@brodierec just raised a $3.6M seed round to revive childhood hoop dreams.

The round was co-led by Golden Ventures and Lerer Hippeau. They are building for the 99.9 percent of athletes who love the game long after school sports are over.

I helped them connect with the right investors to close this round.

Helping founders accomplish their dreams is the reason I exist.

When you have a clear vision and real traction, you should not have to spend months searching blind for the people who believe in it.

Huge congrats to the Brodie League team!

Maybe we can run some 5 on 5's soon.
