@philmcnulty Yes. The rules have to be simplified for VAR to work properly. But removing var doesn't solve the problem. People will moan just as much if not more about incorrectly allowed/disallowed goals.

@AshfieldTyke @henrywinter Because there were too many goals being incorrectly allowed/disallowed before. That's why it was introduced. Var works when the rules are simple so use it for those decisions.
