@c_sharp_gr @Technomagos Δεν περιμένεις ένα wimp να δώσει πολλαπλές σκεδασεις. Κάθε σκέδαση είναι ανεξάρτητο γεγονός, επομένως οι πιθανότητες αυτό να γίνει στο ίδιο γεγονός πολλαπλασιάζονται. Αναμένουμε το πολύ μερικά wimp scatterings per year, άρα αυτό σου δείχνει χοντρικά την πιθανότητα.

@c_sharp_gr @Technomagos To LZ δεν έχει το granularity για να δει scattering cascades. Και γενικά, είναι σχεδόν αδύνατο αυτό να γίνει σε liquid xenon γιατί το mean free path είναι σχεδόν όσο ένα μόριο. Θα χρειζόμασταν φωτοανιχνευτές στο μέγεθος μορίων. Και ίσως ούτε αυτό δούλευε λόγω διάχυσης.
