@WhiskeyPriest@5Solas I see her as an indictment of the men of the time. The men were so weak and unfaithful that they demanded a women lead them into battle. So when we see a woman in one of these leadership roles, the only question should be "are there no willing and competent men".
@HajiModnar@IfindRetards I don't understand this position. Seems like something like this is either never/always okay. Kind of crazy that something like whether it's a life and okay/not okay to murder could be answered with some guideline about whether or not we feel a woman is escaping accountability.
@MakewiEatsSpam@unirespecter If it were some random argument that started over something petty like a parking spot I would agree but you don't think going around intentionally provoking people to make videos kind of changes the situation?
@BYUbluThru@Huff4Congress It's not about worth. It's about the willingness to suffer the worldly consequences of someone else's sin. Would you marry a former prostitute with aids because she sincerely repented? Would it be wrong for someone else to say they wouldn't?
@shesabeest@LibertyValkyrie Overweight maybe but obese? I think your underestimating how much muscle mass one would need to have a BMI over 30 while having low body fat. There's a high probability that anyone that big is juicing.
@AndrewR70528002@kay_fade@KimIversenShow Are you still on about this? You're literally defending some faggot at the halftime show as if that community isn't full of pedos.
@AndrewR70528002@kay_fade@KimIversenShow Fuck off. I didn't grow up in a church and was probably 15 or 16 when all of these songs I mentioned came out. Nobody gave a fuck back then. It wasn't until people were able to form mobs on Twitter that everyone started pretending to be outraged about this shit.
@kay_fade@AndrewR70528002@KimIversenShow There's a few of them and you may be inclined to think maybe they were only 19 or 20 when they made it and it doesn't sound quite as creepy but then when you look it up it turns out they were all pushing 30 years old writing these lyrics.
@kay_fade@AndrewR70528002@KimIversenShow It's crazy how you could just put lyrics like that in a song back then and nobody batted an eye. His song, Eminem had both "guilty conscience" and "ass like that", and I'm pretty sure there's an Akon song that references sleeping with underage girls. Definitely a different time.
@jpvanhoy@farmingandJesus@ScottAdamsSays What I do know is that when I pray regularly, I handle the events throughout my day regularly and when I apply the principles Jesus taught in the Gospels, I'm generally a better person. Take all that for what you want.
@jpvanhoy@farmingandJesus@ScottAdamsSays Because I don't like the idea that I'm the same person today as I was 20 years ago the the concept of forgiveness laid out in it appealed to me.
@jpvanhoy@farmingandJesus@ScottAdamsSays I answered your questions using biblical context. Nothing more nothing less. If your intent is to simply ask gotcha questions in an effort to call people's faith into question, I don't actually feel any need to justify that part to you.
@jpvanhoy@farmingandJesus@ScottAdamsSays I guess you could argue it was symbolic more than anything. I don't make the rules. I just try to understand the Bible to the best of my ability and act accordingly.
@jpvanhoy@farmingandJesus@ScottAdamsSays In the old testament law, sin was forgiven through sacrifice. However, my understanding is that some sin was simply not forgivable. The point of the crucifixion is that God offered his son as the ultimate sacrifice to show grace to those with faith.
@jpvanhoy@farmingandJesus@ScottAdamsSays Freed us from strict adherence to the laws of the old testament as well as giving us a path to salvation for things we would've been eternally condemned for before the crucifixion.
@jpvanhoy@farmingandJesus@ScottAdamsSays James 2:17-18 NKJV
Thus also faith by itself, if it does not have works, is dead. [18] But someone will say, "You have faith, and I have works." Show me your faith without your works, and I will show you my faith by my works.
@jpvanhoy@farmingandJesus@ScottAdamsSays "Not through works" essentially means that faith is a requirement and it's not just a tally of good deeds vs bad deeds. However, that doesn't mean you can act with impunity. These verses argue that true faith requires the willingness to do good works.
