@hmfalconer@gregory_palermo @lecagle Great references and advice here. Id also recommend caution when linking coding to rhetorical effect. Early visual rhetoric work tended to subscribe to a strong theory of rhetoric (“this feature had this effect”) and that’s not really how pictures or rhetoric work
