@schadjoe Just think, we used to have 4 or 5 awesome football games on New Year's Day that resulted in crowning of a champion. Maybe you had to wait for the morning newspaper to tell you who the AP writers and coaches voted for but most of the time it was all settled.

@schadjoe Most people are indifferent about purely US sports. NFL, NBA, MLB - propped up by gambling. The sad fact is the fan doesn't exist any longer, the leagues replaced us with degenerate gamblers. So the idea the fan will magically appear at soccer games is a bridge too far.
