Kaduna State ranks as Nigeria’s top 3 states in 2025 pSPI Report. The Phillips Consulting has released its 2025 State Performance Index (pSPI), ranking Nigeria’s 36 states on governance and development performance.

The report uses a balanced methodology: 70% based on objective metrics such as
Audited Financial Accounts,
Infrastructure Delivery,
Fiscal Sustainability, and
Service Outcomes, and
30% from a nationwide citizen perception survey.

Alhamdulillah.
Yesterday marked a significant milestone in my journey. With profound humility and gratitude to the Almighty, I formally declared my intention to contest for the House of Representatives, Ikara/Kubau Federal Constituency. I must say a big thank you to H.E Senator Uba Sani @ubasanius for his mentorship and opportunities over the years.
The overwhelming turnout of a mammoth crowd filled me with renewed purpose. Seeing so many of our people, young and old, men and women gathered in unity was truly humbling. I am especially grateful for the strong endorsement and support I received from all major stakeholders across the constituency.

Your collective trust is a sacred responsibility that I do not take lightly. This declaration is about answering the call to serve with integrity and dedication. This is our shared journey, and together, by the grace of God, we shall achieve greater heights.

I had the honour of joining the Vice President, His Excellency Senator Kashim Shettima, GCON, alongside other distinguished guests, at the wedding fatiha of the children of my brother and colleague, His Excellency Governor Babagana Umara Zulum. The ceremony took place at the Palace of the Shehu of Borno in Maiduguri, Borno State.

I extend my heartfelt congratulations to Umar Babagana, Mamman Babagana, Abba Babagana, and Aisha Babagana, as well as their spouses. I wish them all a happy and fulfilling married life. May Allah bless their unions and make their marriages among the best. Ameen.
