If what you include is a “modest ad load” I’d certainly hate to see a heavy ad load. The commercials are so loud and so incredibly annoying. I signed up for the Hulu package offered on Black Friday last holiday. But honestly, even at $20 for the bundle, I can barely watch anything. It’s not even worth the low price of $20. I was considering “ad free” but then I read that ad-free isn’t really ad-free.
Can’t do it.
@joshrhorner@BillyM2k And make sure your fascia hasn’t restricted in your core. Sitting for long periods of time, such as our modern work life, can not only shorten the psoas but also lead to a restriction in the fascia. Modern lifestyle is crippling us.
@severeweatherEU I appreciate the approach you’ve taken here-no hype, just the science. I’ve recently become interested in the emerging research/observations of CMEs affecting the destabilization of the polar vortex. Any thoughts on that?
Silo is an amazing show. You just make everyone wait so long in between seasons that people just forget about the shows or give up. It really is a poor marketing strategy.
Pluribus is terrible, in my opinion. I honestly thought, “are they just running an experiment to see how long they can get the general population to watch the world’s most boring show?”
And please stop with the ridiculous“if you don’t like it, you’re not smart.”
Watching social psychology and behavior modification techniques play out on the public in real-time is exhausting. You can literally watch the hive mind take over. If everyone took a few hours to learn about social psychology and how it’s used on us, the world would probably be a very different place right now.
ChatGPT just told me this exact thing the other day. It explained to me, in depth and without prompting, that its algorithm is designed to mirror my values and attitudes.
I’ve written prompts that ask it to research what I call ‘the dusty old attic of human knowledge’ to find long lost knowledge and compassion which go far beneath the scrubbed internet garbage and the facade of lack of human empathy in social media. And then report back to me on some of the ‘gems of human history’ which demonstrate long forgotten human interactions. We’ve been as far back as the late 1700s manuscripts so far.
@LPNational Anyone running in WV in the next few elections? I’m seriously at the point where I’ll never vote again. It’s always the same thing over and over again, and it’s always the people who pay the price.
@SunWeatherMan Primitive brain? Ancients did far more amazing things than modern humans can. Most humans today just sit around doom-scrolling or watching tv while wiping greedy cheeto grime off their fingers before moving on to the next “amazing tech trap.”
@FiveTimesAugust Been seriously limiting my social media time. The less time I’m on social media the better my days are. My Saturday was great. I didn’t start my days last week with fear, hate, and rage. I hope your Saturday was awesome too 👏🏻
