@TheELongWave There are less people entering the housing market today than 10 years ago. For the last 15 years, the baby boomers children have been buying their first homes. Now it is the children of the “bust” generation. There will be less demand for several years to come.
@TheELongWave Over the last 15 years, the boomer’s children were buying their first homes, add in low rates, immigration and speculators. House prices surged. Now a smaller group of people entering market, rates have gone up, immigration is down and speculators out. Prices will drop.
@sentdefender Seizing Kharg Island does not reopen the Strait of Hormuz. Reopening the Strait involves invading the islands and shore line that boarder the Strait. All this talk about Kharg may just be a distraction. Like in the first Gulf War they led us to believe it would be a sea landing.

@ronmortgageguy Correctme if I am wrong but I believe that most bands in Ontario signed treaties. There were not many treaties signed in BC and so that’s why the question of land ownership is still unresolved.

@vcdgf555 If conflict with Iran does break out, is it a reasonable assumption that it will start on a Friday evening? Why do people talk about action starting on weekends
@StephenPunwasi The Baby Boomers got rich selling homes to their children. That cohort is now in their 30's. The next generation entering the housing market is smaller (children of people born after the Boomers). Demographics say the housing market will be depressed for at least a decade.
