If we'd kept all 8 refineries open, they'd cover ~75% of Australia's fuel needs in 2026 (855k barrels/day capacity vs 1.145M demand).
Now only 2 left = under 20% coverage & importing 80%+. Back in the 2000s they met nearly all demand when usage was lower.
Shame they were just allowed to close — governments on both sides should've stepped in for national security & kept them running instead of leaving us this vulnerable.
Sydney — the brazen gangland shootings keep coming: mistaken identity hits on innocents like young tradies and even elderly residents killed in error victims to crime feuds. Families devastated, suburbs on edge — it feels more dangerous and reckless than we've seen in years.
Media shows the headlines, but where's the sustained outrage and tough action from our leaders to smash these networks? We deserve safer streets now.

@elonmusk I placed a Cybertruck order for Australia years ago when we were able to. Retail Cybertruck for Oz has been ruled out but can’t you release a limited edition for those with a down payment? We know you’re not always about the money, sometimes it’s principle. You can make it happen!

@unusual_whales This is so that foreign buyers are forced to purchase brand new stock, not existing homes. Good for developers, keeps construction going and good for locals looking for established homes

🚨🇰🇷AI ARMS RACE HEATS UP: SOUTH KOREA GOES ALL-IN
South Korea is grabbing 10,000 high-performance GPUs to power its national AI hub.
Acting President Choi Sang-mok says AI competition has gone beyond companies - it's nation vs. nation.
While U.S export rules block China, Russia, and Iran from advanced chips, South Korea is free to import as many as they can lay their hands on.
By September, they will announce who gets the deal - Nvidia, AMD, or Intel.

"Listen, for a place that is so tough and everything on land, in the water, can kill you, you have the biggest p**sies I've ever seen in the media in my life.

Holy f**king sh*t, you guys have to have the biggest p**sies of all time in the media here."
